Alttestamentlerinnen (Old Testament: German)
We are a group of all Old Testament scholars who participate in an open forum for scientific discussions. We have been meeting together for a two-day workshop every year since 2003. Our discussions include relevant research questions and projects as well as questions of dogma and agency. In the past, women from Germany, Switzerland and Austria have participated in our workshops. Most of us are working at universities and institutes of higher education; some are students, in adult education or work in churches.
Our group speaks German, but we are open to all interested women. We are happy to have new Old Testament scholars join us at our yearly meetings and look forward to your projects, questions, and ideas enriching our discussions.
